Steve Taylor started working in insurance in 1972.

He obtained his associateship qualification by passing 12 insurance papers in 1980.

After 15 years with NZI in a variety of roles he left to start Hutchison Rodway Ltd in early 1988.

Steve was on the Independent Insurance Brokers Association national committee for 3 years. He has been chairperson for the North Harbour branch of the Brokers Organisation for the last 14 years.

Outside of work he is involved in social yachting, fishing and volleyball.
